Producers Daryl Roth and Eva Price announced Aug. 14 that Emmy-winning TV and film star Tom Skerritt will make his Broadway debut in Tony winner Rupert Holmes' stage adaptation of A Time to Kill, based on John Grisham’s best-selling novel, which will begin previews Sept. 28 at the John Golden Theatre.

This is Grisham’s first novel and, many critics believe, his best. It is a deceptively complicated, character-driven novel set against a simple act of revenge.
